Megan Tregilgas
Visual Métier's Director, Megan Tregilgas has enjoyed 20 years in
the retail and wholesale industries.
Megan’s formal training is as a Fashion designer /patternmaker.
Megan’s passion for fashion took her to London where she worked for
fashion leaders Top Shop and Sunglass Hut International. Her strengths
in marketing and retail were recognised and Megan was given the opportunity
to return to Australia and be involved in the setup of Sunglass Hut International
in Australia.
Megan then followed her career further working for fashion industry leaders
Gucci, David Jones, Just Jeans and Jurlique. Visual Merchandising and
creativity have played a significant role throughout Megan's vocation.
Retail Métier– (Métier – meaning forte) Visual Métier’s sister company was Megan’s original business, a retail consulting company, specialising in providing customer service information to companies such Oporto, Holiday Inn and Fitness First. Visual Métier seemed the obvious next step when it was recognised that the customer deserves the complete experience not only fabulous customer service but locations that attract the consumer, Visual Merchandising is still the most direct means of introducing a product to potential buyers.
The collaboration of Megan and Richard Addario (RDA Electrical) has resulted
in Christmas installations of five star hotels, pubs, clubs, banks and
shopping centres.
Visual Métier evolved in 2006, providing and installing decorations
for Christmas and other seasonal occasions.
Richard Addario
Richard Addario, director of RDA Electrical Pty Ltd, is a licensed electrical
contractor who has more than 20 years experience in the electrical industry.
Whilst working across residential, commercial, industrial & mining
fields, Richard's passion lies in creative lighting, in a design, consultation
and installation capacity; whether it be land scape lighting, event lighting,
mood lighting in restaurants & pubs, lighting for art galleries or
retail shop fit outs.
On a grander scale, most notably, Richard was head foreman to the recent
refurbishment of St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, the mother church of Australian
Catholicism. He also played an instrumental role in the electrics for
Sydney 2000 Olympic Velodrome, Tennis Centre and main stadium.
In recent years Richard has worked along side Megan & Visual Métier
consulting with the design and implementation of Christmas decorations
and lighting in various hotels, shopping centres, pubs, clubs & banks
throughout Sydney.
